At the start of this project I knew I wanted to use organic shapes and make a typeface that was close to a psychedelic style. I started out wanting to make a serif-like font to look more retro, but after discovering fonts like "Mind Melt" I knew I could combine fun shapes and retro style into something different.
Preliminary Sketches and revisions
I did most of my revisions after class feedback in Miro. seeing each letter in a new light really helped me put the typeface together in a more cohesive way. After altering the shape, size, and appearance of some, the final product is much more legible and streamlined.
